1963-1967 Fuse Box Bulkhead Connector Repair Kit
The 1963-1967 Fuse Box Bulkhead Connector Kit is the connector that is mounted/attached to the back of the fuse block. It passes from the interior of the vehicle, through the firewall, to the engine compartment.
This repair kit includes a new bulkhead connector, terminals, and firewall gasket. It does not include the fuse block (available separately for select vehicles).
Please be aware that it is very difficult and time consuming to replace your existing bulkhead connector, especially if your old harness is still in your vehicle. There will be almost no slack (if any) in the wires going to your bulkhead connector. For this reason, we recommend that you do not cut-off your old terminals but instead, remove them from your old connector and pry-apart the terminal's core grip from the wires. This process will keep the wires as long as they were originally. Then, the new terminals must be properly re-crimped and spot-soldered.
Knowing all this, we strongly encourage you to purchase a new, complete Dash Harness instead. A new Dash Harness (for most vehicles and applications) will include a new bulkhead connector, fuse block, new remaining components and new wiring.
