1963-1966 Rack & Pinion Upgrade Non-Power Steering
If you're tired of the "feather light" zero feedback feeling of your 1963-1966 Corvette then consider our Steeroids Rack & Pinion Conversion Kit. Corvettes are equipped with factory recirculationg ball type steering that had a extremely vague and unresponsive feeling, especially "on center". Our Steeroid units feature a quicker ratio that yeild approximately 2.5 turns lock-to-lock. Kits also include adjustable tie rod ends to prevent bumpsteer and eliminate darty behavior by keeping your alignment curves correct while the suspension is in compression and rebound situations. Our 1963-1966 Corvette Manual Rack & Pinion Conversion Kits are designed to upgrade manual steering equipped Corvettes to a Rack & Pinion steering system that functions without hydraulic assistance.
If you wish to update to power assist, choose our Power Rack & Pinion Kit. You can update Corvettes originally equipped with manual steering by purchasing a correct power steering pump and bracket setup. Each kit is complete and includes everything neccesary for installation.
