1961 DeWitts Aluminum Radiator Reproduction Painted Bump Cast Date Coded
Exact reproduction of the 1961 Aluminum Radiator, Non-Painted with Bump Casting with Date Coding. Unique to the 1961 model year, this radiator has a raised square bump on the top of the inlet casting (part 3150896). Since this casting number is so obviously positioned, some people confuse this with the part number of the radiator. 1961 radiators were not painted until the middle of production. Late 1961's and all 1962 radiators were all painted black gloss enamel.
These exact reproduction radiators are reproduced using the "stacked plate" type radiator method, is the ultimate in performance and is brazed with today's state of the art techniques. Each radiator is uniquely date coded, to match your Corvette build date.
