Improve the cooling capacity of your 1961-1962 Corvette in the original core support with no modifications! Our Direct Fit Aluminum Black Ice Radiators offer 35% increase in cooling capacity. This radiator features a double row (1.0" tubes) core and the same cast aluminum necks used on the original radiator.
The Black Ice Coating is a special two part epoxy paint. It is applied in a spray and adheres to the aluminum and will not ever flake or peel off. It is s semi-gloss finish that will give the radiator the look of an original copper/brass unit. The total thickness of the dried product is on .002" thick and it will not affect the cooling performance whatsoever.

Always confirm the size (core width) of your existing radiator as we see many Corvettes with non-original core support/radiator combinations or engine swaps that lead to incorrect replacement radiator selection. The radiator is but one of many components in the cooling system and its efficiency is often compromised by the lack of proper hood, core and radiator seals, incorrect fan or shroud combination, fan clutch/ thermostat and circulation issues, or even ignition timing.
