1961-1962 DeWitts Radiator LS Series Engine Upgrade
Mid America Motorworks now offers special LS Series Corvette Radiators that are built to fit the stock 1961-1962 Corvette radiator core support but configured to hook up with a newer LS series engine. High performance Spal fans are mounted directly to the radiator, eliminating the need for the factory fan and shroud. Relay and wiring harness is also included in each package. Connection sizes are changed to match the ports on the new motor. We also include a connection for the steam line and install the fan control switch into the end tank.
This model has a filler neck on the radiator, which eliminates the stock Harrison overflow tank. Automatic transmission cooler fittings on this model are in the driver side end tank. Lines will need to be located to that side of the car. Lines for this cooler are 5/16" inverted flare, like you would find on a typical 60's style GM car.
