Replace your Starter Shims as needed with our 3 piece Shim Kit for your 1960-1987 Corvette. Our high quality Starter Shim Kit is manufactured to factory specifications for a direct fit in your Corvette Engine. Kit includes 3 - 1/64" Shims.
Tech Note: Many times if a starter makes a grinding noise during start-up, a shim or two will cure the problem. The starter has to be spaced from the flywheel ring gear properly to make proper contact.
