This bumper bolt is located at the rear bottom portion of your seats and also used under the hood and both uses allow for proper alignment of those areas. On the interior, this bolt attach at the bottom portion of your seat back and ensure it stays at your preferred position when the seat back is returned to its resting position after being lowered forward. Under the hood, this bolt can be adjusted higher or lower to ensure your hood lays neatly with no gaps and lines up properly with the latches.
