1956 Corvette Removable Hardtop Restoration Service

We begin by disassembling an original hardtop, frame and all.  We then sand and polish the frame as well as the stainless steel moldings, back into original condition.  Old paint will be stripped away, and the fiberglass repaired as needed.  Time will be taken to ensure that all the correct rivets and all of the weatherstripping will be placed just as they were at the factory.  The stainless steel moldings will be dent free, installed with the proper retainers, and properly positioned throughout the hardtop.  Also, whether you want the hardtop painted in base coat/clear coat or lacquer system, we will handle the paint work.  You can either supply us with the paint code, a quart of the paint itself, or the car's gas-lid door for computer color matching.  A fresh headliner, dyed to match your interior, will be installed, and the crustal-clear acrylic windows will be date-stamped to match your car's VIN.  Essentially, the hardtop is going to look like it just rolled off the factory floor.
