Manufactured to factory specifications, this 1957-1962 Rear Bow Deck Lid Latch is a direct fit for the old, broken, or missing original on your Corvette.
This is a correct reproduction Chrome Rear Soft Top Latch on Deck Lid.
These first design latches with attached mounting studs were used 1956 through mid 1957 production. Later production 1957 Corvettes use this second design latch that mounts using phillips head screws.
The 1956-1962 rear soft-top latches on deck lid can break if not properly latched. General Motors recommended that the rear latch be latched first.
Approximate Serial Number 4500 forward are considered late for this design change.

- Hook the latches to the windshield header, but leave loose
- Latch the rear bow to the body
- Lock the windshield header latches
Convertible top rear bow latch handles are shorter than hardtop handles to prevent the latch handle from poking the convertible top canvas.
