This reproduction Corvette vertical ignition shield is the right-hand, passenger-side shield for your 1959–1962 C1. GM developed ignition shielding to reduce electrical interference for better radio reception and performance, and these shields are often removed during tune-ups to reach the spark plugs and wires, then lost before a car comes up for restoration.
