This Rear End Axle Vent valve allows your rear differential to breathe. Fluid leaks around the side yoke and pinion seals are often a consequence of a plugged axle vent causing excessive internal pressure. A plugged vent turns your differential into a pressure cooker and will cause fluid leaks no matter what condition the seals are in!
