1953-1956 Rear Spring LH Front Hanger Bracket Early Design
Our reproduction 1953- Early 1956 Corvette Rear Spring LH Hanger Bracket is required for securing the LH (driver side) rear leaf spring to the chassis. The bracket features OE quality heavy duty stamped steel construction to provide a solid mounting point for the left hand rear leaf spring's front shackle.
In 1956 General Motors redesigned the Corvettes Rear Spring Hanger Brackets to improve the vehicles handling by reducing the shackle angle. The late 1956 hanger accomplished this with a shortened overall height and raised shackle eyelets to provide the improved shackle angle.
