Made from extremely durable, 1/8" thick Polycarbonate Lexan, these covers are built to last. These covers are virtually unbreakable with 250 times the impact strength of glass and 30 times that of acrylic. This means they won't break when installing, removing, or even if you drop them! The smoked finish is built into the Lexan, which means there is no worry of these covers fading, peeling, or chipping over the years!
Installation is made easy thanks to the automotive grade 3M adhesive backing! Proper surface preparation is vital to ensuring these covers stay put once installed. Be sure to thoroughly clean the area for installation with the supplied alcohol preparation pads. These covers, by design, do not create an air or water tight seal once installed. They are designed with water channels to allow water to flow through them. This provides hassle free maintenance - if you see any dirt building up between the factory lights and the covers, simply spray water along the top or side to flush it out.
