Please note that when you receive your restored CD changer, it is required to be reinstalled in a horizontal position and not in the vertical position it was originally. This prevents the design flaw that wore it out from affecting the newly rebuilt unit.
Preparing Your CD Changer for Shipment
- Pack with care: Wrap the unit tightly in plenty of bubble wrap and place it in a sturdy box with at least 3" of protective padding on all sides.
- Choose reliable carriers: USPS, UPS, or FedEx all offer fresh boxes; often free or at a small cost. Most customers prefer USPS for its convenience.
- Insure your shipment: We recommend insuring the package for $400, as original replacement units can be difficult to source.
- Label properly: Please include “ATTN: Restoration Department” on your shipping label.
