Treat your C2 to the best! This high quality restoration decal set is here to help you bring back that authentic, factory fresh look. Inside this meticulously crafted kit, you'll find a range of period-correct decals to transform your Corvette into a true showstopper. Keep in mind that this set does not include any engine code, air conditioning, expansion tank, or suspension related decals. What it does include are the essential basics and here's where you'll find them.

The Positraction caution decal is located on the lower right corner of the jack compartment cover inside the car and requires a trim adhesive for installation (not included). The radiator cooling system caution decal is placed on the left-hand (driver's) side of the radiator. The jacking instruction decal for cars equipped with steel wheels (you'll find this decal under the cargo storage area compartment door) is specifically applied to the driver's side under the jack lid.

The reflective gold and matte black 350 horsepower valve cover decals are designed to be applied directly to the valve covers of your 327ci engine and require a water based application. Instructions for this can be found above under the "Technical Tip" tab. The AC PF-141 oil filter canister instructions decal features straightforward instructions that goes directly onto the canister, ensuring proper maintenance of your engine's heart.

The Harrison radiator foil tag is a piece of history for those who appreciate the early days of aluminum radiators. This tag provides you with essential do's and don'ts for the care of your radiator and is situated on the top left hand side of the aluminum radiator.

Immerse yourself in the authenticity of your Corvette, right down to the last detail. These decals are expertly designed to match the original look and feel, adding that touch of nostalgia and originality to your beloved C2. Don't settle for less when restoring your baby. INSTRUCTION FOR APPLYING WATER SOLUBLE DECALS

1. Immerse decal in a tray of lukewarm water. Leave it submerged in water for about 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Allow sufficient time in the water and gently slide the decal a little to make sure it is loose.

3. Slide the decal over the paper edge about 1/4 inch. Gently slide it onto the surface on which you wish to place it.

4. If you are applying decals to an engine, it is best to let dry overnight and also avoid freezing temperatures.

5. Make sure the area the decal is to be applied to is free of grease, oil, dirt, etc. If it is new paint it is best to scuff up the surface a little to take the extreme gloss off so it will stick well.

6. After the decal is dry (at least 24 hours) a thin coat of clear shellac will help preserve the decal and keep it from flaking off. This is not necessary but merely helps preserve it and seal the edges.

7. If the decal flakes off in a short time, chances are the surface to which it was applied was not prepared correctly (as described above) or engine was operated too soon after applying.

8. Due to engine heat, oil and dirt - the life of the engine decals is somewhat short depending on how much you drive, etc.
