1963-Early 1964 Door Handle Metal Reinforcement Plates. These plates mount on the inside of the door acting as a reinforcement for the exterior door handles.
Note: 1963-Early 1964 (up-to approximately VIN # 15000) featured doors with raised door handle mounting plains molded into the fiberglass door skins. Late 1964-1967 model doors were flat were the door handles mounted and did not feature the raised mounting plains.
