Tech Note: These Sunroof Covers are known differently by each model. The Beetle is frequently known as Ragtop Covers and the Bus is known as a Sliding Sunroof.
Installation Note: Sunroof replacement is a High Skill Level Project. If you are not experienced in automotive upholstery work, we strongly recommend that you take your new sunroof cover to a professional shop for installation. We do not accept returns on Sunroof Covers damaged during installation.
Helpful Hint: When replacing this Sunroof Cover it is recomended to install new rollers to the metal bows that give the sunroof its strength. Also when the top is removed it is the perfect time to polish up the aluminum sliding tracks that are screwed to the body of the car. Make sure original sunroof drain holes are clean too. This will help prevent the body from rusting in the future.
