MID AMERICA Motorworks' 10th ANNUAL FUNFEST
The Final Send-Off For The Corvette's 50th Anniversary Year
Approximately 8,200 Corvettes and 34,250 enthusiasts turned out to make Mid America Motorworks'
Funfest the ultimate grand finale celebration of the Corvette's 50th anniversary.
Our 10th annual customer appreciation
celebration was highlighted by a special display of 50th Anniversary Edition Corvettes, a Saturday evening concert by 1964 The Tribute
to the Beatles, helicopter rides, ladies' spa, scrapbook classes, Mobil 1 Traveling Display, Meguiar's Wax Special Display Tour and a Display of
Custom-built and historic Corvettes from Chevrolet, just to name a few of the weekend highlights.
Thanks to all of you who attended, and for those
of you who didn't check out all of the highlights we captured right here. Funfest 2003 goers made the journey from 42 states, but the Corvette Club
of Belgium won the long distance award with 40 members traveling to the U.S. specifically for the festivities!
In addition to the Fun Display car show and award
presentations, author's row and tech seminars, Funfest also served as a chance for us to showcase our new interior production division and Performance
Choice manufacturing plant. The grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and full facility tours.
Next year's Corvette Funfest will commemorate Mid
America's 30th year in business, September 18-19, 2004, so mark your calendar now!
