Funfest 2009 Registration is now open!
We are excited to announce that Corvette Funfest 2009 Registration is now open! Be part of one of the largest Corvette gatherings in the world, as more than 15,000 Corvettes and over 45,000 enthusiasts take part in Corvette Funfest 2009 on September 25-27.
Join Mid America Motorworks in their 35th Anniversary Celebration, and enjoy a weekend of special displays, a fun judge car show with awards, technical seminars, product demos, ladies events, and more. A show stopping headline concert, an event highlight, will be held on Saturday evening.

Now open to
all makes and models! All items offered for sale at the Swap Meet must be
parts, accessories, or memorabilia for any automobile of any vintage. To
keep the real swap meet feel, only used or NOS parts are allowed. Vendor
space for the Swap Meet and Flea Market is $20 each for a 20 x 20 space. Swapfest starts at 8:00 a.m. CST at our company headquarters on North Route
45 in Effingham, IL. Each year, Mid America Motorworks hosts Spring and Fall
Swapfests.

Mid America Motorworks’ Funfest for Air-Cooled VW is celebrating their 35th Anniversary in 2009! Join in the fun as thousands of air-cooled Volkswagens and their enthusiastic owners converge in Effingham, Illinois for two days of VW mania – Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, 2009. New this year is a Volkswagen Auction where participants can buy and sell everything from a project roller, a daily driver, to a show car!
The weekend event has grown steadily over the years to more than 1,300 Volkswagens of all descriptions and more than 8,000 enthusiasts. Participants come together for a whirlwind weekend of special displays, a car show, swap meet, tech seminars, product demonstrations, family zone, road tour, and more.
