Corvette Sound Deadener Mass-Back Bulk Kit

Mass Back Sound Deadener has been the choice of Corvette interior engineers since 1984. Manufactured by Dupont under the name Keldex, it is commonly refered to as Mass Back. Mid America Motorworks' Performance Choice interior manufacturing division applies this material to each set of C4 and C5 carpet to reduce interior noise. It also suppresses some exhaust heat transmission. We have been using sections of this material in our own Corvette restorations for many years. It works so well we decided to offer it in convenient 20 square foot bulk kits. Each kit will contain one or more pieces that you can easily cut to fit any area and then glue down with spray or brush-on adhesive. Mass Back is also formable to uneven surfaces when heated with a heat gun or hair dryer. Want even more sound suppression? Just add another layer!
