1984-1996 Corvette Brake Caliper Seals and Hardware Kits

If your C4 weeps brake fluid, or develops an ocasional spongy pedal we have the C4 Corvette Brake Caliper Seal Kits you need. Each seal kit will enable you to rebuild one faulty caliper and return that like new and firm brake pedal response.

It is recommended to replace your C4 Corvette Brake Caliper Hardware during each brake pad replacement or before they strip, seize or snap off. One kit is required per caliper.

Tech Note: If your Corvette has developed a strange rattle in the front that disappears when you apply pressure to the brakes, you most likely need to replace the Brake Pad Retaining Hardware 611646 which includes new anti rattle springs. Also it is good practice to replace and lubricate the Caliper Retaining Pins 611645, each time you replace the pads. This keeps your calipers free to self center on the rotor as the pads wear. If the caliper gets stuck on these pins you will notice one pad being worn considerably more than its mate drastically reducing the braking ability and life of the brake pads.
