Join Our Team Careers at Mid America Motorworks Mid America Motorworks' 50-acre corporate campus puts automotive entertainment on the map, located at the crossroads of Interstates 57/70 in East Central Illinois (see 'Contact Us' link at left for map). Founded in 1974, Mid America began operations at its current location in 1976, and has since physically expanded into a modernized office complex - nonetheless still surrounded by farmland nearly three decades later. New buildings have also since popped up on the grounds to meet the rising demands of this progressive company, including a retail showroom, MY Garage automotive collection and authentic fully restored 1910 gas station. An off-site production facility houses the company's burgeoning interior manufacturing sector, positioned to become a primary source of Corvette interior packages, seat upholstery, molded carpet sets, door panels and more. The company's Air-Cooled Volkswagen and Porsche divisions are in line to eventually follow suit with this type of production as well.
