 | Fun Fast and Furious Mid America Motorworks Spring Swapfest and Low Speed Autocross Drew in Hundreds of Enthusiast | Mid America Motorworks hosted their 10th bi-annual Swapfest, Saturday May 3, 2008 on the corporate campus in Effingham, IL. Swapfest allows automotive enthusiast of all types to cruise through thousands of parts, buy, sell, swap, and race. In addition, the ?Cars for Sale? area was full of Corvettes, VW?s, and Hot Rods priced to sell and individuals looking to buy. The inaugural Autocross added excitement to the day and competition was fierce with a total of 28 racers. From kicking up dust to burning rubber the track was full of race hungry enthusiast. All winners received an exclusive Mid America Motorworks Embroidered Leather Travel Bag. Special thanks to the Corvette Club of Illinois, President Doug Hanner, and Art Rapp for their help in organizing and conducting our third Low Speed Autocross.
